Re: feeling of" something" in anal canal

Hi, that feeling comes from your pubiorectus (sp?) muscle being tight. It loops around your lower colon and it relaxes when you have a BM to allow evacuation. If you have developed trigger points in that muscle from straining to go, it will remain tight. A pelvic floor PT should be able to get it to...

Re: Should trigger point therapy be so painful?

Use the probe, but my biggest success come from having dry needling done. Look it up, and sorry for not seeing your request.

Re: feeling of" something" in anal canal

For me, it was the puborectal muscle having trigger points and that muscle cramping. The muscle runs around the lower colon and must release to have a bm. To release it requires internal massage or myofascia release, internally. It takes a long time to get it to release and stay, since every time yo...

Re: My Best Trick for Pain Relief

Fentynal is my best trick. It is a cancer pain med and is 10 times stronger than morphine. I don't think I would be here without it. My pain wae 8 to 10 without it and 3 to 4 with it. I am down to 2 some days, but on other days I need additional morphine to sleep.

stretching facia

I have come across an amazingly effective way of stretching fascia. It even works on rock hard muscles, and it is called the CoAT method at serenemassagetherapy.ca. Were you have a muscle spasm or cramp, you pinch the skin or muscle and twist. The torque stretches the fascia. You can do it yourself ...

Re: Should trigger point therapy be so painful?

Hi , I had as many as 50 trigger points in my periformis muscle and glutes due to oxidative stress from lyme and babasia (similar to malaria). The only way I could get rid of them was with dry needling. The needle wasn't that painful, but when the muscle would twitch when the trigger point was hit, ...

Re: PEMF SUCCESS

Update, I continue to improve with less pain, fewer cramps/spasms, increased energy, and a positive view on my recovery. All this in several months, after 11 years of agonizing slow recovery. I played 18 holes of golf today, and after having lunch, stood up without the arthritic pain and stiffness t...
