Re: Been here before- never ends

I just want out of this nightmare we don't have any machines here to show the pudendnal nerve unless I fly to London and pay 2500£ privately and I'm not working at the minute. I'm just feeling so low at the minute like I've got no future, no one would want me in the state I'm in can't even sit down ...

Re: Been here before- never ends

This is what my physio wrote- Externally in the right Alcock’s canal there was two string adhesions that cross from the ischium to the perineal body and may also involve the perianal tissue. This was a definite trigger for her pain. Although it's hard to say if you can't see directly in the body. Co...

Re: Been here before- never ends

Yea that was my frustration that it was only a one off though I was going through a high stress time and think I was holding the stress in my pelvic floor and tensing my muscles as I was having pain similar to cramps. When I initially went for physio I had no idea how to relax my muscles and my pelv...

Re: Been here before- never ends

Hi Violet Even if it was too rough could it not have irritated the nerve? I don't understand how the nerve can be trapped if it initially got better after 2 years. The physio thought that it have been blood that drained though the pelvis and caused a sticky adhesion. Do you think they'd be annoyed w...

Been here before- never ends

Hi guys, I'm not sure if you've read any of my posts before but 4 years ago when I was 19 my bf rubbed my clitoris too fast and hard and caused damage to the pudendal nerve. To this day I'm not sure how this happened and i'm so angry that something so minor has caused my years of pain. I don't under...

Re: TENS unit for OI muscle spasms and burning pain

Hi guys,

Did the flare ups from the tens ever calm down?? I put 1 pad on each bum cheek and the pain has rocketed to 8/10, could any daage have been caused if the pads were near the injured nerve

thanks

Re: PGAD - persistent genital arousal disorder

Hi Violet, You're probably right about the worrying I'm going to try and download the mindfulness of Itunes. I was saying to my physio about the bad bladder spasms I have before i need to pee and she was saying about clench and release my pelvic floor to try and help me go when I'm on the toilet so ...

Re: PGAD - persistent genital arousal disorder

Hi violet, I'm starting to worry now. This morning I tried to get out of bed but was feeling really dizzy so I sat at the end for about 10 seconds but at times I would have an increase in pain and I've been putting on my socks and doing all that stuff for the past 2 years now without a cushion if it...

Re: PGAD - persistent genital arousal disorder

Hi guys, If the cipralex is working then stick with it you could always ask to be put on a low dose of pregabalin/ gabapentin. Something that crossed my mind, whenever I have to put shoes or socks on I tend to sit on my bed or sofa for a few seconds max about 20-30 during the day. Pregabalin tends t...
