Hi Cade,

Thanks so much for letting me know what you do for work. I will probably be emailing you soon to ask you more about that!

WORK FROM HOME JOBS / EMPLOYMENT IDEAS

Hi, I am curious to know if anyone has ideas for jobs that can be done from home? I'm specifically asking about work-from-home jobs b/c I need to be close to a bathroom and have access to stand, walk, and lay down as needed throughout the day. (A job that is in an office would not work, as this is w...

Re: OBAMACARE INSURANCE (NO OUT OF NETWORK BENEFITS)

Hi NYT, Ok thank you very much. I actually already had my hearing a few months ago and have not heard anything back yet on a decision from the judge. (I'm assuming that this is not a good sign since I have heard of people getting approved during their hearings.) If I do end up with an approval I wil...

Re: OBAMACARE INSURANCE (NO OUT OF NETWORK BENEFITS)

Thanks Violet and NYT. My providers are all in NYC and I live in NJ. So my thought is do I move to NY? Although they are all out-of-network still anyway, but at least I would have access to some doctors at good NYC hospitals. NYC is very expensive though so I don't think moving there is realistic fo...

OBAMACARE INSURANCE (NO OUT OF NETWORK BENEFITS)

Hi Members, I am reaching out to speak with anyone who is currently on a marketplace/Obamacare insurance plan through the state in which they live. I will be losing my COBRA insurance benefits (through the plan I had with my old employer) very soon and so I need to choose a plan on the open marketpl...

Re: Resection of perineal branch of PN after injury

Hi Violet,

I just noticed that you posted a link to this article about the perineal branch of the PN. Is this the surgery you had?

Thanks,

Re: sorry to say but I'm back

Hi Joe,

You should see a hernia specialist and a hip specialist to see if you have any underlying undiagnosed hernias or potentially a hip issue (labral tear, impingment, arthritis) that is causing your pain patterns.

Re: Sports hernia surgery resolved pudendal pain

Hi PKGal, Thanks so much for posting. I just joined this forum a few months ago in order to try and figure out if I could gather any helpful information from others on here. I have had the PN pain for 9 years. I just recently found out last year that I have a hip issue (impingement and labral tear) ...

Re: Facing Another Hip Surgery w/PN

Hi shljk,

Did you find out more information about your hips? Are you going to get surgery?

I'm still weighing the FAI surgical option myself.

Thanks,

Re: Possible PN and suicide

Hi Pearl, I would not just assume that your nerves are damaged right off the bat. It's very likely that your entire pelvic floor is in mass spasm -- meaning that it's more of a muscle problem potentially. Once you start PT, you will get a better idea of what is going on down there. Good luck with PT...
