Re: Am I on a good way? Are there really people who got cure

David McCoid is a restorative exercise instructor. He relieved his PN after 14 years and a failed surgery or 2. If I remember correctly, he said they looked at his PN during surgery and claimed it was in fact PN (or maybe PNE,I forget). But in his case, learning restorative exercise gave him pain re...

Re: Are there any known women who has had Cyroablation?

Lindsay, I did not receive a PM from you, but saw this post. I had cryo last June that did not help me. I had a terrible flare that lasted for about a week after cryo and then returned to my normal pain. My PN is definitely causing my pain as I had nerve blocks both before cryo and after and I do g...

Re: Are there any known women who has had Cyroablation?

If you look on the top right corner you will see a search box. Type in "cryoablation" in that box and you see all the threads that have discussed cryoablation. Stephanie, has been to Dr. Prologo in Atlanta for this procedure. You could PM her. I know someone who use to be on this forum wh...

Re: Is there a wheel chair that leans back A LOT?

There a many types of reclining wheelchairs. Here is a link to a company that sells a variety of them: http://www.1800wheelchair.com/category/reclining-back-wheelchairs/ You might want to see if your insurance would cover one as they are expensive. Thanks for sharing the website. From the photos,it...

Are there any known women who has had Cyroablation?

I've just found out by this forum there is a Dr. At Emory in Atlanta who does this. I've been to Emory about pain, saw someone else but this young guy knew of PN but wasn't very helpful, as I don't think he knew a whole lot about it. Is the out come more likely to work if you've had good experiences ...

Re: cryoablation

I wonder who StephanieS saw it Atlanta? I'm in Georgia. Anyway, I wonder if this procedure could help my PN case. I think mine is a mixture of nerves being hurt during a bladder cystoscopy and also after having surgery for genital genital hernia repair with mesh. It effected backsback of my thighs 3...

Is there a wheel chair that leans back A LOT?

Is there a good wheel chair of seat you can take out in public where you can lean back as much as you need to? I can't go to the store bc it's too painful to walk but I can't sit straight up in a reg wheel chair either. I'd like to be able to go to the grocery store again with my husband or sit comf...

Re: Not sure what to do/where to go from here.

Do you have complications from lyme disease in any other areas of your body or were you able to get the lyme's treated successfully? Is your pain primarily on one side of the pelvic area or both sides? Dr. Hibner is an expert on mesh so if you feel like the mesh is contributing to your problems may...

Re: Not sure what to do/where to go from here.

Hi there. Im sorry you are suffering. I recognise those desires to be more pro-active, & the frustration when things dont go to plan. Did they give you a PN/PNE diagnosis after your nerve blocks back in 2015? If things have changed for the worse, it may be an idea to try them again, even if its...
