Re: medical mariuana

mmWe just bought a house in a state that medical marijuana is legal and I intend to give it a try. I am on so much pain medication and I have to have my knee replaced in the fall. My doctor said that pain medication after that surgery won't be as effectiv, so I will get a mm doctor to give me a cert...

Hi,

Re: Can a L5-S1 disc herniation affect the pudendal nerve ?

Strats, I'm sorry that you have to wait so long for pain relief, how long would you have to wait for surgery after the consultation. Don't give up hope. Do you have a pain manager? They have a lot that they can do besides just narcotics. Will I am waiting for I'm not sure what...maybe surgery, I can...

Re: Can a L5-S1 disc herniation affect the pudendal nerve ?

I actually have symptoms very similar to yours. I had pudendal entrapment which was surgically repaired. That pain is gone. Now I'm learning that I have L-5, S1 moderate stenosis and L4,L5 severe stenosis. My symptoms were very mixed like yours are. The rectal pain and some of the other pelvic pain ...

Re: Help with Maine Care

Hi Karyn, Dr. Quesada used to take Maine Care. He had done several blocks on this lady before her surgery. I don't know about now. Doctors who do this surgery, do the surgery and then, no more. I can't really get any help from Dr. Hibner. He did a great job and then that's it. He might give me a ref...

Help with Maine Care

Hello All, I have a friend that had surgery with Dr. Conway in September. He took Maine Care (Maine's form of Medicare) in an attempt to help her. Now Dr. Conway has dropped Maine Care and she can't get a referral from him so she can see Dr. Quesada for Pain Management. She can't get a referral from...

Re: Where did the Obturator Internus go?

Ali, I have to say that I now know that the nerve is absolutely shocked when the scar tissue is removed. Depending on where the scar tissue is, how long you've had it, and how scarred the nerve was, you will have different outcomes. My pudendal pain was 85% better but lately I have had worse inconti...

Re: How to Not Bend After Surgery

Emily, I have been wondering the same thing myself because I am about to have surgery with Dr. Hibner too. Do you know how golfers bend over? They put their hand on the club to balance and bend staight down with the leg straight in back. You are almost in a straight line with your body and the bad l...
