Health Organization for Pudendal Education - Privacy policy

This policy explains in detail how “Health Organization for Pudendal Education” along with its affiliated companies (hereinafter “we”, “us”, “our”, “Health Organization for Pudendal Education”, “https://www.pudendalhope.info/forum”) and phpBB (hereinafter “they”, “them”, “their”, “phpBB software”, “www.phpbb.com”, “phpBB Limited”, “phpBB Teams”) use any information collected during any session of usage by you (hereinafter “your information”).

Your information is collected via two ways. We do not store it on our server. The Internet Protocol address of your computer connected through your Internet Service Provider is visible to the moderators. Moderators/site administrators do not know or have access to your password. We can reset your password manually at your request. After we reset your password we encourage you to change it as soon as possible (and then we will no longer know or have access to it).
Passwords will only be reset manually by the site administrators at your request. If you click on "I forgot my password" on the log-in page and reset your password yourself, the site administrators will not know your new password. Any other information that you choose to supply is optional. Your username and signature if you choose to have a signature are publicly viewable.

We do not sell or make available to third parties or companies any data collected or any information provided by you during registration. Only site administrators can access this data. All e-mail addresses used by members to register will be kept confidential by the website-forum administrators and will not be disclosed unless required to do so by law; however, we cannot take any responsibility for any tracing of your personal information posted on the forum. Site administrators are appointed by the Health Organization for Pudendal Education Board of Directors and may change at any time. This is a public forum and is therefore open to anyone to read and use your posts without registering. Search engines will lead people to forum messages. This allows members searching for answers to their questions about pudendal neuralgia to find us, and permits us to provide help and advice to them.

We would like to remind you that you should keep your personal identity private. Here are some suggestions that should assist you in retaining your privacy:

1. Keep your personal information private.
2. Do not post your full name, home address, telephone number, email address, or anything else you want to keep private on the forum, unless you want the world to know about it.
3. If you do want to exchange personal information with another member, you should do so using private messaging, so long as you are comfortable doing so and you are confident about the recipient.
4. We recommend that you should use a real first name and a single letter for your last name or a number or an abbreviation which is familiar to you. This way we are communicating with actual people, but not revealing our full names. It is acceptable to use an alias if you prefer not to use your real name but please choose an alias that is like a real name. Please make sure that you choose a username and password that you will be able to remember!
5. There is no minimum age requirement to use the forum since we are unable to monitor with any accuracy the age of the forum posters.
6. You can edit your own posts but only moderators can fully delete posts. If you edit the content out of your post, there will still be a blank post that shows you posted there.
