Hi Violet,
Had a quick question... whenever my nerve gets compressed owing to severe pelvic floor muscle spasms/ tightness after doing activities like seating, bowel movement, stress etc.. I start getting pain in lower back, thigh, shin and top of foot which is accompanied with burning in those areas, palms with pins & needle almost all over body especially shin, forearms, face... according to you what would be causing such 'global' symptoms....can pudendal nerve pinch/irritation due to tight muscles irritate entire spine??? Is this discuss anywhere else in the forum? I couldn't find any link.

Nadir, we may have had some discussions related to some similar symptoms before but I don't know if any of them would apply to you -- on topics like polyneuropathy, chronic regional pain syndrome, central sensitization, multiple sclerosis, arachnoiditis, or crosstalk between nerves. You may want to research these topics on google.

PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.
