Prudential disability insurance denial #2

Arrgh.... Prudential denied my disability claim, again. Completely ridiculous stuff too, somehow driving 5 miles to a doctors appointment means I can drive 54 miles each way to work. I could go on but I sure some of you have been through this.

Private insurance will do anything to deny the claim including fabricating thing and taking you information out of context.

I am waiting for the records from prudential before either:

1. appealing again myself.
2. I now have the option to take them to court.

But I need to see the information from prudential.

BTW if you are denied, you are entitled to ALL of the records that the insurance company acquired. For us with PN this can be a mountain of documents.

Take the time to read through them because I have found that the insurance company does not do more than skim over them until they find a reason to say no.

You need a disability attorney. If you have been trying to do this yourself don't try it again without an attorney or you will loose. It is even difficult to win with an attorney but at least have someone who knows how to handle these guys.

I agree, now is the time for legal representation.

I have asked for all documentation and I am waiting for that before trying to get someone to take on the case, that way I have all of the documentation. I enen scanned and organized all of the information.

The first appeal, nobody would take the case. I tried at least 6 firms and a referral agency with nothing solid. However, a friend of mine with PN is a paralegal in MN. She helped me with the appeal to help with the finer points.

Now, I need to find someone who knows what PN even is.
