Interstim Implant - February 3rd

Post by JunoJade »

I underwent surgery yesterday to have the trial interstim implant installed. I have PGAD, overactive bladder, and interstitial cystitis.

For those that have had this procedure performed, how long did it take before you started noticing a difference in pain/discomfort? I think I am seeing results, but I'm still on pain medication from the surgery, so I'm not sure if that is part of it.

Also, I have noticed that I sometimes have to change the strength. They started me on a 0.5, but sometimes I can't feel the 0.5. I have been fluctuating between 0.5, 0.6, and 0.7. I'm currently using the 0.6 setting, but I can only feel it when I sit or lean certain ways.
