Jackie,

Did your MRI from Dr. Potter show anything useful for treatment and potential pain relief? Is your pain isolated to the tailbone? I believe we have discussed how the results of the Potter MRI, which claim to see son much, contrast with the results of the MRIs by Dr. Hibner's office.

Thanks,
Stephanies
PN started 2004 from fall. Surgery with Filler Nov. 2006, Dr. Campbell April 2007. Pain decreased by 85% in 2008 (rectal and sitting pain resolved completely), pain returned in 12/13. Pain reduced significantly beginning around 11/23.

It showed I was RE ENTRAPPED again with scar tissue and in addition the sciatic nerve is partially entrapped.
I tried all the injections she suggested and NO relief.
I am beyond the end of my rope.

So sorry Jaxi. I completely understand how you feel. Does any doctor have any recommendations? Where is the scar tissue? Can a PT try to break it up?

Or maybe Kirk Andrew in Canada -- with ESWT?
PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.

Have you looked into PRF or cryoablation? I don't know if they can target tail bone pain, but you could ask.

This is ridiculous but its true.. CASH cost is like $5,000. Insurance cost is about $500.. Why do they charge people that pay out of pocket 10x as much????
True fact!!
