Use of MRN to diagnose PN

Post by Violet M »

PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.

I don't have the full article so I can't say for sure. They could be using the terms interchangeably because an MRN is essentially an MRI with special software settings to enhance the nerves. But just from reading the abstract it sounds like they are recommending the MRI to rule out any tumors, etc., but also an MRN which enhances the nerves. I don't know -- if someone has access to the full article maybe they could enlighten us. :)
