Standing exams

Post by Grammy »

I was not sure where to post this. How many of you ladies feel vaginal congestion and pressure as part of your symptoms? I am returning to see Dr Conway this week and I am going to ask him to do a standing exam. Embarrassing..sure it will be however I feel that when I am on my back with feet in stirrups a prolapse would not show unless it was severe. Both Dr Conway and a local Dr insist there is not a prolapse but rather this is all nerve related. I am hoping to test out the drg soon and I doubt that would take away prolapse symptoms. So far I have met with a pain Dr at the Newton Wellesley Pain Clinic in Newton Mass. next step is a psychological exam. If I pass that, I will be able to set up a trial. I will let you all know how it goes. If it helps, it would be the answer to a twenty five year prayer!

Good luck with your appointment this week, Grammy. And with the DRG. I hope this will finally be the answer for you!

PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.
