How do you sleep.

Post by erikdelfos »

dear suffers,

Sitting make it wurs, but also sleeping.

pressure on the nerves during sleeping on the back, stomach en right side make it wurs in my case. how do y all sleep. anti gravity room, not touching the bed, like flying seems the best way. no pressure, but off course this one does not exist. somethnig like a anti gravity cabine.

sleeping on your stomach with your penis into a hole of the matras, self made off course. The same how we put our heads in a massage table. anyone exparianse ?

I believe in the power of nature. If the nerves not being press somehow. The nurves can rest.

3 mounts now I got the pain symptoms. I stop working and sitting. I walk each day 7 hours. In the morning 3, then rest. In the afternoon 2, rest and evening 2 and than sleeping. I Maked proces. But sleeping do not help the proces.

I got the symptoms because of sitting 10 hours a day.
I stoped working 3 mounts after heavy pain.
The nerves hurts s2 s3 S4. Thick as hell on the right butt gong down to my pudental canal. Between but hole Nd penis. And my penis give elektrisity.

Even walking give pressure. But this one we can't change. It keep de blood flowing. But how do you guys sleep.

Is there no other way than using a bed?

Yes, I tried pain killer. But it make me weak. No power, give headpain and makes Mi depressif

I accepted the sitting work is no option anymore. Its damaged my body in the first place. I had a very good business running, but I can't do it anymore.
With other words I am looking now something I can do. I am thinking about teaching children how to learn swimming. Less salary butt the with money now.
Why: into the water is no gravity and not sitting anymore.

Anyway the thing is, if I use painkillers I change possision and sleep automatically on my back. Next day the pain is back again.

A bad is perfect but don't have it. And can we humans sleep in water?

On the Internet I see the selling anti gravity cabine for running. But no machine for sleeping (anti gravity)

In 2020 we still sleeping on a bed that also could damage our body in some cases. Is there no other way?

erik, have you tried ice or heat? Right now I'm using only heat at night (a vinyl heating pad usually on the highest setting). It doesn't entirely shut off the pain but it reduces it enough that I can sleep. During the day, I use ice (a frozen condom wrapped in a wet paper towel placed on a pad in my underwear). That shuts off the pain but leads to panniculitis if you do it 24-7 so the heating pad at night is needed to give your skin a break. Both are a monumental hassle, but they work for me and don't involve medication.

Erik,
I use a sm water bottle that is frozen ( i keep 6 in freezer always) n place in a womans or men's short footie ..both from the DOLLAR STORE . It goes between my legs to sleep n when stuck in bed watching tv , it is now second nature. It calms me n my symptoms down. I use lyrica n lexapro. Can u try just 5mg of lexapro at night. And i would walk only 1 hr n not 5hr as i think i read ..or stop walking for 4 weeks to let everything calm down then slowly do a fast walk not a run.. half hr every other day..then every day..then see how symptoms are. I wish you could go up in the space shuttle n float to sleep to but till then ... i hope this helps. PS i use hot gel salon paz patches on my back in some areas n lidocaine patches in others. Your Dr. can prescribe 5% lidocaine patches. You can get 4% over the counter. I also use compounded 10% lidocaine cream for burning . So talk to a compounding pharmacist maybe? But i could not get out of bed with out salon Paz hot gel patches on tail bone etc. Maybe one of the new mattresses they ship to your door that fits to your body would help. Ask them for their softest. GOD B WITH YOU i am sorry u r in this boat. ..but hope the tools u find here will get u through till u find answers. You will need to get a PN specialist and imaging and move forward ...two steps forward one back usually lol

Hai sadie,

I Maked great improvement by walking and sleeping and eat healthy and using pea pure. But to scared to sit and damaga the nerve again.

Walking.. Only fibrating (penis, perenieum, butt hole and tailbone and back (middle) right side only and no pain.
Sitting is scared.. Max 15 minutes only. ( I trie it one's a week.
I sleep very well because I know now where the pain is . I sleep on my left side or right side, with a cushion between my legs. Stomach and back is impossible.

I stop sitting working directly. I am focusing on this evil decise. I don't use medicines and follow education to become a swimteacher. Life changes.

I can feel the nerve.. Its only on the right side. But most painful. Into Perenieum and penis. It's trapt.. For sure.. Very strange.. Hopefully nature is going to help.. Never a surgery, because its not 1 thing and cutting ligaments never....

Thanks for your help.

Hi Erik,

I know your question is a bit dated, but I thought I'd answer in case you are still looking for a solution (or maybe someone else is). I use the Comfort-U pillow, which is one of those large "U" shaped pillows, usually used by pregnant women. But it keeps you on your side. I can't lay down on my back or stomach because of the pain. So this big body pillow keeps me on my left side all throughout the night. I bought about 5 of them throughout the 13 years that I've had pain. Most recently on Amazon. Hope that helps.
5/11: burning in all areas innervated by PN; self-diagnosed PN
5/11: pelvic floor PT (PT #1) did not help after 2 sessions; she gave up
12/11: Kalinkin MRI doesn't show anything significant
12/11: Consult with Hibner; agreed with PN diagnosis, likely due to tight pelvic muscles
12/11 - 12/13: Tried 4 other pelvic PTs - tbh, they weren't great - no results
1/14 - 11/15: pelvic PT with PT #6 (better results, feel about 30% better after 2.5 years of PT)
Related conditions: MPS, S.I dysfunction

might be sleeping on right side is the best option. I feel pain in my heart when I used to sleep on left side after 20 to 30 minutes. I think the proper way to sleep is on the right side in this condition your heart on the upper side and stomach is the best shape to do digestion. Walk is essential for the men by all means (Physically, mentally and Sexually).

At this time, on a heating pad and with the help of a muscle relaxer.
