I’m reading the Peter Dornan book and he mentions this site and here I am.

About two years ago I crossed my legs and felt like I’d sat on my balls , very sore.

That’s how my pudendal nerve ( still to be diagnosed) started . I contacted the doctor and told him I had testicular pain , sitting down pain, urinating was different , uncomfortable when driving , leg pain , all left hand side of scrotum and groin etc etc
The doc diagnosed me with Epididymitis , long course of antibiotics , pain killers , then another long course of antibiotics but no success .
Then on to the urology dept , nice guy but after MRIs , ultra sounds and 6 months still at square one

Next was the orthopaedic spinal surgeon , had a injection in L4 , no success . To his credit he mentioned at the end he thought it may be the pudendal nerve .

I’m then referred to a neurologist
He organises a nerve induction test / neurophysiology and shows mild chronic L5 radiculopathy . Damage to the annulus fibrosis between L4/5 and L5/S1 can result in referred pain to the scrotal region as does damage to the sacroiliac joint degeneration .
I don’t take the L5 injection .

Next is chiropractic help who initially helps but his physio sets me back which then Leads to an ultrasound which identifies a hernia ,which is confirmed by a colorectal surgeon .
He is very confident after op will solve sitting down problem . The op did solve the hernia problem but back to square one on the left side sitting down issue.

Now with a pain specialist who so far has only done a diagnostic injection .

All thoughts appreciated
