Male Perineal pain perineal descent

Post by Hussain »

Hi I am new here,
Is there anyone know any specialist that in NZ that help with perineal decent, I have developed pain and burning on the perineum after a work injury to the pelvic although I have done a lot of physical therapy, pelvic biofeedback and internal releasing lavator ani muscles I manage to get rid of spasm and able to sit comfortably,

But during the biofeedback and diaphragm breathing and stretching I have now developed a symptom called perineal decent which is over stretching of pelvic and perineal muscle, I have no bowel or bladder problems but
I have burning, tingling sensation, pain in the Perineum and on bulbospongiosis muscles and unable to walk for a long distance, sometimes pain goes away when I rest but sometime it’s there all the time even when resting
I take Gabapentin for nerve pain but not helped much,
Can anyone please for the love humanity give me some feedback and if any specialist in NZ that I can go to.
Thank you

Crazy that a website forum title www.pudendalhope.org has so many questions posed with no responses. Not even a hang in there. My suggestion would be to rename it www.pudendalnohope.org.

Its been over 2 years Hussain, but if you are still out there, hang in there. Question your doctors, specialists etc. You'll find the solution, you just need to advocate for yourself. In todays modern people are so self obsessed that they wont do it for you. Im 3.5 years into my journey and jsut got told I need to do another 6 months of pyshio. Ive already done 9 months. Push and push and push is all I can say. Doctors dont know everything and some jsut shouldnt be doctors but youll find one that will treat you and find answers.
Best of luck.
