I had a lot of perineal branch involvement but also the main branch was affected. I didn't have much rectal involvement so possibly that branch was coming off higher up than the ligament entrapment as it does in some people. So I can't say for sure what was the main cause of the urinary symptoms but if the main branch is affected at the ligamental grip of the SS/ST ligaments it can cause urinary symptoms.

PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.

Ty for answear Violet.

So you had 2 entrapment zone ? One at ligaments and second at distal perineal branch ? I understanded good or was only one just at Ss/St ligaments that gave you perineal problems also ?
