Has anyone had surgery for both vaginal and rectal prolapse surgery and what was your outcome?
Did your PNE pain worsen or better?

I had surgery to repair a posterior rectocele and uterine prolapse. The surgery did not make my PNE pain worse or better but other symptoms I had were much improved by the surgery (constipation, feelings of vagina dropping, pressure, and looseness).
Left-side pelvic, mons pubis, clitoral, pubic, and vaginal pain, and PGAD, all started in 2010. Deep ache, pulsating. Pain mostly constant but tolerable, but with several intolerable flare ups per month that last hours or days. Treating with self-care, minor pain meds, muscle relaxer, Lidocaine patch, and vaginal suppository (compounded Valium/lidocaine/baclofen). Nothing really helps. Going for assessment with pelvic therapist on Jan 6, 2020 and hope to get some answers and relief.
