The pump analysis stated that the transition tubing was damaged.. I spoke with Medtronic about compensation.. They offered me gas money for the ride to Maple
grove the day they took out the pump. This was last August. If you don't laugh you cry. The stimulator is not helping at all.. I try to keep my attitude positive.. I have quite a bit of mobility, some days my pain level goes all the way down to 6. Ice is my best friend... I am able to go out to dinner with my family, and sit for a time.I have been reading about RHEO, Do you have any knowledge of this helpine anyone??? I highly doubt it.. I sure would like to know about any successes...

Wow, that's pretty bizarre they would just give you gas money! I'm sorry to hear the neurostimulator isn't working for you, Ellie.
Not sure what RHEO is. Is that the same as amniotic allograft?

PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.

Yes Violet, I believe it is.. I did some research , it is from the placenta . Sound correct? I have been feeling quite well lately.. I do get some flares with the sciatic. I sure don't understand why but then I will take all of the better days I can...
Re: medtronic pain pump report findings
Glad to hear you are having some better days, Ellie. Maybe don't try new treatments right now and hope you will continue to improve without more treatment.

Hi Ellie,
I'm so sorry that the stimulator is not working. Yes, ice has been my friend for many years too. I believe Rheo is the product that Dr. Jarnagin was (and may still be) injecting when he does the amniotic allograft. You can search on this site to get reports on that, but I don't think it has been a successful treatment. I considered it a couple of years ago and concluded from my research that it was not an effective treatment.

Re: medtronic pain pump report findings
by now many of you may have heard of Kratom, FB has a page tea saved me . I have gotten off of my opiods with the tea.. this is day 8,I have a ways to go , the best part of this is that there are no ill effects from WD from the Kratom. Also , people that have been helping me, say they just continue to dose until the pain is gone. I bought a kilo from a vetted dealer on the website. We are making capsules as well as mixing a tea with honey, v8 juice, any juice for that matter... Kratom is from the leaves of a tree grown in Malayshia , Indonesia and that part of the world. If it sounds too good to be true. it isn't. you can buy it in health stores, smoke shops... They prefer to call the kratom tea, it seems big government wants to get involved.. big pharma.. So far it has helped me tremendousely. , TEA SAVED ME Helps the pain, you can not overdose on this... it has not taken any lives..... Hope you continue to search for the ones that have not heard of it...……. God Bless. Ellie

I'm glad you are doing well, Ellie. I'm not sure what you mean there are no ill effects from WD from Kratom. What does WD stand for?
See the following link for what one reputable website states about it. I think it may possibly warrant some caution.

IF TAKEN TOO MUCH YOU CAN GET WHAT THEY CALL THE WOBBLES. DIZZY,, NO ONE HAS EVER DIED FROM THIS PLANT ALONE. I ASKED IF IT WOULD BE FEASABLE TO HAVE BACK SURGERY TO HELP WITH THE SCIATIC AND LEG PAIN. I WAS TOLD MY BACK IS TOO DEGENERATIVE . LIFE GOES ON
