Re: Pudendal neuralgia

I'm so glad duloxetine is helping you! I have been talking to my doctor about trying it for my pain .May I ask what dosage you're taking? Do not loose hope on this condition. My Primary Doctor recommended Cymbalta(Duloxitine). It works. Years ago they wanted to send us to a Phsyc Doc because it was ...

Re: Has anyone had pain relief from ketamine?

Thank you so much for that information. I'm not sure if that type of 24/7 treatment even exists here in the USA, will need to do some research on this. As for DRG, I did do a DRG trial earlier this year and sadly it did absolutely nothing to help my pelvic floor pain. What it did do during the week ...

Re: Can Alcock's Canal be properly decompressed laparoscopically?

Thank you so much! I've read online that he only does in person consultations rather than doing telemed consultations. Do you know if this is the case? I had transgluteal decompression surgery done 20 years ago and the issue I've been encountering is that most surgeons don't want to do "redo&qu...

Re: Has anyone had pain relief from ketamine?

I'm so glad it brought you some relief! How was the medicine administered 24/7? Orally? An implanted device? Something else? And did insurance cover it?

Thanks,
Bart

Re: Success with redo decompression surgery

My options are pretty limited at this point. I unfortunately had a regression of symptoms and have pudendal neuropathy (rectal dysfunction, erectile dysfunction, rectal/perineal/scrotal burning). Symptoms had improved significantly after my initial pudendal nerve decompression. As life went on and ...

Re: Success with redo decompression surgery

Hi everyone, I’m wondering if there any folks out there who have had redo unilateral pudendal nerve decompression surgery, ideally with Dr. Hibner and had a better outcome. I unfortunately am starting to think that my pudendal nerve have become “entrapt” either between ligaments and/or fibrotic sca...

Re: Can Alcock's Canal be properly decompressed laparoscopically?

Yes, of course! I had laproscopic surgery with Dr Bautrant and his surgical report indicated Alcocks canal was fully dialated and decompressed during surgery. I cannot recall his name, but the second was the surgeon in Portland Oregon that works at the Pearl Womens Clinic, it could be Dr Fogellson ...

Voorheesl wrote: Thu Jul 24, 2025 6:57 pm Yes, it does. I would ask the surgeons you consult with; I consulted with several of them and the laproscopic surgeons universally told me yes.
Would you mind listing the surgeons who said they can do this laparoscopically? I'm interested in contacting them about my PN.

Thanks,
Bart

Has anyone had pain relief from ketamine?

I have occasionally seen some reference to people having ketamine suppositories and whatnot. Has anyone on here had notable pain relief from a ketamine prescription in any form?

Method: His office said he does transgluteal decompression surgery. But I have no information about outcomes.
