I think the article means well but it is poor quality and verging on inaccurate in many places.
Prostatitis is not the same as pudendal neuralgia/pudendal neuralgia. There are a lot of problems with the diagnosis of prostatitis and it is over diagnosed in practice.

I can't tell for sure if he is equating chronic prostatis with pudendal neuralgia or just including both of them as separate diagnoses in the list of problems that their protocol addresses.
The article is from a few years back so it would be interesting to hear where their research has led.
PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.

I think they are grouping them together for discussion purposes but the diagnosis and treatment is very dissimilar. I think it also implied PN was a musculoskeletal disorder, which was a new one on me.

Right, I don't even know how chronic prostatitis is diagnosed and treated.

As far as PN, there are a number of different causes so I don't think you can automatically conclude it's musculoskeletal.
