Perpherial Nerve pain 13 yrs after Pudendal Nerve Damage

Post by Diana10 »

I have had PN for 13 years and various treatments and do not sit, ever. The only time I even lean is to drive within the 2 miles of my home to get to shop and church etc. Recently, about 2 months I started having skin burning upon rising in am. This started at 5 am, even after taking my q12 hour meds,at about 3am,which are 4 oxy,2elmeron(For IC) xanax prelief. Then when I get up I take lyrica, opana and put heat on bums. The heat helps the best of all,but need the
other for PN nerve pain. Has anyone had this and what do you use? Thank you. Diana10.

Sometimes a topical ointment/cream such as Lidocaine 5% can help. If it is in the vulva area then you need to have it specially compounded so there are no irritating ingredients.

There women who use vaginal Lidocaine suppositories for their IC so hopefully you won't have any problems. Let us know how it works.
