hello world- any med profs hiring??

Post by emilyb »

Hey everyone!!

I know this is entirely atypical, but here it goes

I am completing my undergrad and living with PN. I am pre-med and studying neuroscience with the intention of going to medical school and dedicating my career to this and other associated neurological conditions.

I have a good GPA, work experience in what is considered to be one of the top neuroscience labs in the country, and a potential publication up for review as we speak

If any med professionals who are reading this are interested in somebody who has had a patients perspective would be willing to give me some resume building/experience in the field, please shoot me a message. Would be so greatly appreciated.

Thanks very much, best of health to all.

Congratulations on the review of your paper. That is very exciting!

I do not know how many medical professionals or research labs read our forum but if any do I hope they PM you.

Drexel has a really good pain research program if you are interested in studying pain.

Good luck, Emily. ;) Maybe you will be on our list of physicians someday! :D

PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.
