Please help me with a diagnose

Post by faev999 »

Hello,

beforehand I apologize myself if this is not the right place to place this topic, this is the first time I use this forum (and in general I am not good using this way of communication).
I write this on behalf of my girlfriend, she has been experiencing a series of symptoms and I would like to know if these correspond to the pudendal entrapment or neuralgia condition:

pain in the bladder (pulling down, burning sensation, sensation of fullness, pain when walking, after orgasm, after urination)
pain in the clitoris (stitching , burning, also after orgasm)
pain in the vagina lips (burning)
pain in the urethra (burning, after urination)
pain inside the vagina (burning)
neck pain(mostly right side .right where the skull and the spine meet)
lower back pain (mostly right side ....iliosacral?)
pain in the leg (mostly right ,shin bone)
pain under the feet
all these symptoms are accentuated during menstruation.

these symptoms started almost 4 years ago, she remember she was doing a lot of cycling before but also coming from a tropical country ( Bolivia).
it is worth mentioning that she was diagnosed with a mild case of Spina Bifida when she was 2 and a half years old.
we currently live in Germany, so I would also like to know if any of you know someone here or close by (doctor, therapist , neurologist....anyone) that could help us with this situation.also it is worth mentioning that she has been going to a lot of doctors and therapists, but, until now she hasn't found a serious answer to her situation , she only found people who were not willing to commit into finding what's happening with her (unfriendly and uninterested doctors) or just palliative treatments for a pain (which until now ,no one knows where it comes from) without even having a proper diagnose.

I am going to be really grateful if someone could reply to this post and provide us some help to this problem.

best regards

Welcome and sorry to hear your girlfriend is suffering. There is a list of symptoms off the homepage that you can use to compare and see how many match. Also off the homepage are doctors and the FAQs have a great deal of information about what to avoid, what to do to get a diagnosis (tests, etc), pain medicines that target nerve pain, and other info. I hope you can get some idea of what is going on for treatment.
you may want to review and post in the Deutsches forum section to seeif anyone has local medical help.
