Valium suppositories

I was put on 10 mg suppositories with endep for 5 years when I tapered off I realised I had a Valium addiction and was surprised I literally could not get to sleep without Valium Has anybody else had this experience? Deb

Endep is a Elavil/Amitriptylline. Was is compounded with valium? Valium is a benzodiazepam & are very addicting.

I wasn’t on suppositories, but I did get hooked on nightly diazepam after years. When I tapered too fast, the rebound insomnia was brutal. What helped was a micro taper with liquid diazepam (5–10% cuts every couple weeks) and CBT‑I basics: fixed wake time, no naps, morning light. My GP also had me pause the taper when sleep crashed, which kept it bearable.If you want structured help, I had a decent experience with Abbeycare, clinical but kind, and they planned a slow taper with aftercare.
