Potters MRI
Potters MRI
Those of you having potter’s MRI are you having both hips done or just one side?
Re: Potters MRI
Hi Jaxi,
I had it done almost 8 years ago, and I must have had it done on both sides because the radiologist contrasted the two sides, noting that I had edema where the SS and ST intersect on the left side but not on the right. So I would have it done on both sides even if your pain is concentrated on one side.

Re: Potters MRI
Both. But I have pain on left side only.
PGAD began 2010. Left vulva deep pain&arousal. Lower left ab pain/tugging.
2020 PFPT failed.
2023: Prolapse surgery, More PT.
2024: Trigger point injections helped to some extent.
2025: Dry needling helps! Inconclusive nerve blocks. Potter MRI shows pelvic varices but no nerve entrapments.
2026: Trying Venixxa supplement for vein health and it seems to be helping my PGAD! Also doing a trial of Zepbound (tirzepatide) to see if it helps my PGAD.
