U.S. Doctors for DRG Trial?

Hi all!

I am looking for a list of specialists who are trusted to do DRG for pudendal neuralgia/pelvic pain.

I saw a practitioner in NYC (Kiran Patel) who wanted to do a DRG trial, but insurance denied it as experimental. I am fortunate enough right now to have some money, so I could do cash pay of a reasonable amount (I don’t know, maybe up to 20K) for a trial. If it works, it would be a key decision point as to whether to proceed on this route rather than decompression surgery.

However, in NYC the price quoted for a trial alone was about 60K. I think this is a combination of NYC being the most expensive place in the country and the fact that Patel works at hospitals rather than ambulatory surgical centers.

Are there any other providers you would recommend. I am familiar with Ioannis Skaribas in Houston. I want to be cautious not to go to someone just because they are cheap, because a poorly executed trial is worse than no trial. So I only want someone who has actually worked with pudendal/pelvic patients. I cannot pay NY prices and can travel.
