From insurance verification and coding to claim submission, denials, and final payments, there seem to be many steps where mistakes or delays can happen.

For those who work in healthcare, what part of the medical billing process do you think causes the most problems for patients? And what could providers or billing teams do to make the process easier and more transparent?

Are you speaking as a patient from personal experience about a problem with billing? It don't have any ideas that come to mind regarding your question but I do know there have been patients in the past who have posted that certain procedures need to be coded a certain way in order for insurance to cover it.
