Is it a symptom of PN if the vulva area burns after a bowel movement? Sometimes the burning will start midly but it will escalate within an hour to be really burning and I will take topomax. It has been almost a year and I have no diagnoses.

topomax eh...careful with that stuff... made my ex crazy.
I figure pressure from the bowel movement could hit nerves or damaged muscle tissue that tends to cause pain in the genital area.

It can be. Same nerve only different branches -- however if it's the main trunk that's affected then any one of the branches can experience pain.

I used to get this badly, less so now.
The most likely reason is that you have a tight sphincter.
Try massaging it. I did this and it released a lot of tension. I used to get pain with every bowel movement but it's a lot better now. But I still suffer from some obstructed bowel movements because there's still some tightness there.

I agree. Try massage and hot baths. I had the same burning eight months ago, but now it is gone. Hang in there, the body will try to heal itself.
