PNE or something else?

I am a new member and looking for some advice. I have been having pain in my groin for the past year. I have seen 6 doctors, done 2 MRIs, and gone through 3 months of physical therapy. The PT reduced the pain, but nothing has gotten rid of it. None of the doctors know the true cause and none have taken the time to find the root cause of this problem.
I work in software, so I spend most of my day sitting on a computer chair. I also spend a good amount of time at home in a computer chair. I first noticed the pain after a long day of sitting. It was a dull pain at the base of my penis on my right side. Standing up relieved the pain immediately. As time went on, I noticed the pain more often and it started occurring earlier in the day. I also began to notice the pain while driving. The pain actually comes on quicker through driving than through sitting at the office. Within 10 minutes into my commute, I start to notice that my adductor muscle on my right side under my leg is very tight and slightly sore. 10 minutes later I start to feel the pain at the base of my penis on my right side. When I get out of the car, the pain goes away immediately. The tight adductor muscle seems to have something to do with the pain since it normal proceeds the pain.
I don't feel the pain when lying down or when standing up. I also don't feel the pain when sitting on the very edge of a chair or when sitting on a recliner. It is only when I am sitting back in an officer chair or in my car. I have put my keyboard/monitor up on a shelf so that I can work standing up and this has drastically reduced the pain, but it still comes on during my commute. At home I have replaced my office chair with a recliner and lapdesk, which has also drastically reduced the pain.
I have done a lot of research online and the 2 things that seem the most likely to me are PNE or some kind of Sports Hernia. Since the pain seems to be preceded by a tight adductor, does that point more towards a Sports Hernia? I had a MRI of my pelvis, and the doctor said that he did not see a Sports Hernia, but I have read that they can sometimes not be visible on a MRI. I had a MRI of my lower back and the doctor didn't see any specific problems there.
I am wondering if anyone has had similar symptoms or recommendations on what to try next. I live in San Antonio, and I can't find any doctors here who specialize in pelvic pain. I am willing to travel to find a doctor who knows something about this subject. I don't want to spend the rest of my life trying to find ways to avoid sitting in normal chairs.
