Hello,
I have a question.
I have noticed that when I post a reply or question I don;t get notified and I have to search all over the place. I don's get notifications on my e-mail to let me know.
I do on other sites but not this one.
Have I not set it up correctly but I don't always see the option below the message notify when get reply and I always mark it to do so.
sorry for any inconvenience but its such a good site and very helpful and I have posted alot of things I need help on and have posted to people hoping they get well.
I do see the replies after searching all over the place but it would be easier to know somehow when you get one.
I have just marked below this message..notify me when a reply is posted....where do I get notified?
What am I doing wrong please..?

Hi Lexie - if you want to be notified when replies are posted to a topic (doesn't matter whether you have posted in the topic or not) then you need to click on where it says 'Subscribe topic', it has a tick next to it - at the bottom of the page. You will then be sent an email when someone posts in that thread - the notification will go to the address which you have put in your account settings. You can check which email address this is by looking on your User Control Panel - link at the top of this page just below Board Index - select Profile and then select Account Settings.
When you have activated notification, you will see that the box at the bottom of the page has changed - you now have the option to Unsubscribe topic instead.
One other option that is very useful - if when you log in you go to the Board Index, you can click on 'View new posts' and you will get a list of all threads with new posts since you last visited - if you click on the little orange icon by each title, it will take you directly to the first unread post in that thread.
Edited to add - one other thing - if you 'View new posts', if you see a little red star in the first icon next to some of the threads - these are threads where you have posted.
