Limited MRI of the pelvis
Limited MRI of the body of the pelvis was performed as a followup to a study performed 07/20/2010. The study VIas centered on the pelvic floor and suspensory ligament of the penis.
Again noted is anterior deviation of the coccyx, with minimal deviation towards the left. Again noted is asymmetry of the sacrotuberous ligame:rlts with scar surrounding the left pudendal nerve adjacent to the ligament. There is considerable scar noted at the pelvic floor, at the anterior margin of Alcock's canal, extending to the right pudendal nerve and the dorsal nerve of the penis. This is present bilaterally, right greater than left. Scarring of the capsular ligaments of the pubic symphysis is seen and there is scar formation at the suspensory ligament of the pubis adjacent to the base of the penis. This suggests prior trauma. There is distraction of the inferior margin of the articular disc.
Impression:[/b
]MRI o£the pelv is,demonstrates :pudendal nerve entrapment, as described above, as well as 'post-traumatic deformity with scarring of suspensory ligament of the pubic 'symphysis attaching'to the base of the Penis.
