Hello All
Hello All
Hi, I am a new person on here so I just thought I would introduce myself, I believe I have some sort of pudendal damage based on my symptoms, Unfortunately it seems to be getting worse, The short version of my story is that late in my 3rd trimester 9 years ago I had a lot of pelvic pain and a persistent arousal feeling that didn't go away.....

Re: Hello All
Hello and Welcome,
There is a post in this same section from a couple days ago entitled "Hello" by new user KateC - 9th month of pregnancy onset, hyperarousal...very similar. You might want to take a look to see what advice she got and also identify with someone in a very similar situation.
I started symptoms after childbirth and now that my daughter is 8 1/2 I am finally recovering significantly; it does take a long time to get this diagnosed and addressed but it can be done. I hope this board helps you organize a plan of care which will work for you.

pelvic pain started 1985 age 14 interstitial cystitis. Refused medical care from age 17, did GREAT with self care for years.
2004 PN started gradually, disabled by 2009. Underlying cause SIJD & Tarlov cysts
improved with PT & meds: neurontin, valium, nortriptyline, propanolol. (off nortriptyline & propanolol now, yay!)
Tarlov cyst surgery with Dr. Frank Feigenbaum March 20, 2012.
Results have been excellent so far; but I won't know my final functional level for a couple of years.
