Does the pudendal nerve innervate the pubic region?
I have a numb feeling in my entire pelvic and genital region. I was wondering if the pudendal nerve innervated the pubic region. I know it can innervate the genitals and perineum, but what about the low low abdomen? My numbness seems like it begins right where my pubic hair area begins. Does the pudendal nerve innervate that area? If not, what nerve does?

There can be variations from person to person. The ilioinguinal and genitofemoral can innervate the pubic area.

The pudendal innervates the saddle area but the areas of innervation between the pudendal, ilioinguinal, and genitofemoral are very close together and the pain can be referred so it can be difficult to determine which nerve/nerves are involved. Since you also have genital and perineum numbness you have to be suspicious of the pudendal nerve.

PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.

Inner thigh burning can be associated with obturator internus muscle tension. The pudendal nerve runs through the Alcock's canal between the obturator internus and the levator ani muscles. If you have pudendal neuralgia it can cause the obturator internus and the levator ani to be tight.
The anal sphincter is innervated by the inferior rectal branch of the pudendal nerve but there are variations in the anatomy of that nerve and where it comes off the main branch of the pudendal nerve. Also some people have a morestin's nerve separate from the pudendal nerve.
