Sorry, I wasnt sure the best section to ask this question: Ladies, is vaginal tingling (both sides of labias) a symotom of PN? My dr. suspects I have PN,bc of my other symptoms, but I was just wondering if tingling "down there" was often a side effect for anyone else? Ive read on web md that constant tinglyness can be a nerve being compressed,damaged,etc... And this symptom began about a month after my bladder issue began. Eventually led to buttocks, him, thigh pain/aching and lastly, pgad. So I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced that specific symptom with their PN.... ? Or is it even a classic symptom of it? Does someome with classic PN have weird pins and needles/tingly sensations on their behind/and or thighs, legs??

If you read posts by a lady called Bertie on here it may help you as a bladder issue was the start of everything for her - she has done a lot of research and is going down a conservative non-invasive treatment route - i am sure that she will not mind me telling you this.

Also if you look at a forum on menopausematters.co.uk or .com there is a thread running on Pelvic Pain under Personal Experiences that is UK information but may help you.

I will 'Bump' the thread up to the top of the list on meno forum for you to find it.

Rosemarry, I looked at that site and couldnt find the thread you are talking about. Also, I am only 25. Not into early menopause that im aware of? I have spoken to Bertie a little. She is very nice. She invited me to join the pgad facebook group but I left it bc I although everyone was so nice,I found myself more saddened bc there was so much despair on there. I know Berdie is seeing a professor who has her on special antibiotics but Im not sure what else she is doing. There is a simular dr.to him in the US but I dont like her methods,I like the dr.in the UK better. wish i could go there.

I didnt even see a forum on the site to look for it? Did youhave a bladder issue that started it all for you, too? How has she helped you? She is getting some info together for me on her Professor dr. who looks at urine microscopically. Do you have pgad too?

Hi Lindsey

The menopause forum is being redeveloped and the Forum button is now along a top heading - you could just try menopausematters forum in google and it may take you straight there.

The thread is headed Pelvic Pain under Personal Experiences and any information within it is not just applicable to women who are menopausal.

I didn't realise that Bertie was in touch with you when i posted so it may be double information anyway.

I did not start with bladder issues and i do not have pgad - Bertie has helped me in sending me names of specialists and being very supportive in so many other ways. :)

Take Care
