Question about pain symptoms

Post by evilpog »

One of the most baffling things about my symptoms is their tendency to move around throughout the day. At this moment I have the pain deep in my left (my perspective) groin which almost feels like it is radiating up to the left hip flexor. During the day it will move around for yet determined reasons with one exception. If I sit to long the pain moves to the buttocks and/or testicles. Another interesting aspect of my pain is the ability for other sensations to drowned it out. If I engage in exercise, stretches, or anything that causes additional stimulation often enough the pain will be drowned out.

Is pain in the lower back below the hip bones but above the tailbone a general symptom of PN and/or PNE? I see on the diagrams that the nerve roots do come out in the approximate area I feel one of my symptoms, but I didn't see that symptom listed in the general list?

Pain in the lower back is not a typical symptom of PN/PNE but it can be a symptom of other related problems such as SIJD, strained ligaments, or muscle strain.

PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.
