Dear Sir i am suffering from a almost chronic issue by now,if you could kindly help me,i shall be grateful indeed, i have been sitting on the borders of bed for over hours for computing and my posture is always odd like back bent back and neck forwarded, i hope you understand the posture when a person sitting on a computer for 8 to 12 hours constantly,
one day i visited one place and found difficult in sitting on the floor, felt like contractures at pelvic area, but i sat up (that was new thing for me) and than one day while surfing net and sitting in same odd position i felt numbness in my penis , i immediately stood up and manipulated my penis in hand and sensitivity regained immediately but after a few days i developed numbness in my penis till now and i dont feel any taste in sex even. my cock and scrotum in numb and i feel moderately severe pain at the ring of cock (the junction of cock and skin, i am circumcised person). i have erections but not very strong that i had before. and i feel the taste coming from prostate only. i believe this is pudendal nerve issue because i was having pain at gluteal regions while sitting that is resolved now. i was feeling that my gluteal muscles are gone and was feeling pain while sitting before. but now no pain and i am active with no exercise limitations.

Maybe an ergonomic chair and a donut cushion would be helpful since you have to sit so much. If you think the cause is from bad posture and sitting so much maybe you could also try a lying down or standing arrangement for awhile.

If sitting is difficult, it might help to use a standing workstation... Might be a temporary solution until you know more about your condition. And while everyone is different, I would advise not to heavy lift... My penile numbness & pain became 24/7 intense pain after heavy lifting, so I would try & avoid that too while you investigate your condition with your doctor... It may ease your mind a little to know that my penile sensation has almost beem fully restored after surgery. Pain has died down a little, & I live in hope that the pain will clear more over time, but what you are experiencing right now, might not be a permanent condition. Explore options with your specialist & good luck.
