[Why does pelvic pain and penis alloydnia flare worse as bladder fills? I had cystoscopy normal without hydrodistension as was told I don't have ic.]
One possible explanation is that the pudendal nerve innervates the bladder sphincter. As the bladder fills it could cause irritation to the PN.
