URGENT--I need a room to rent while here in San Fran area!!

Post by lexie »

Hello All,
I am here in San Fran from Ireland.Cured of PNE right side 2 years ago by Dr. Weiss and left side had erupted in pain getting worse but manageable. I basicaly need a place to live while i get myself sorted. I have to move out of my current place as they have family coming. I need a room to rent and I will pay of course but right now paying for what some people are asking is just too much fo rme. If I dont find aplace I have to go back to ireland with no treatment and god knows how I will do as this is why I am back here in the USA but now worse.

Anyway I am very tidy, very quiet, very respetful of others privacy. Wouldnt even know I was there. Very responsible and curteous.

So if anyone knows of anyone in the San Fran area or San Jose area and anywhere close to san fran it does not matter that has a spare furnished room and needs extra income please let me know ASAP please. I need to get my treatments and some tests done to get this rolling.
It would have to be month to month not knowing the extent of my length of time but while i was staying I would be looking for a very very cheap place I could live on my own at some point unless it wokrked out good with someone who really needs the extra income and it helps us both in some way. Anyway once I get a diagnosis and a better handle on the pain I will probalby go back home not sure.

Anyone know anyone at all even anyone who would help me out and not charge me alot who could have an extra person.Of course I would be paying for all my own stuff........food,, and the basic things that would probably incur an extra person, but I do not use much of anything u wouldnt know I was there. Even someone who could help me out in any way and they needed the extra company if nothing else and not charge me alot would be great too. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE SOMEONE YOURSELF THAT COULD HELP ME OR U KNOW OF SOMEONE. ------thankyou !!!

Hello all again,
If anyone knows of any Pudendal floor therapists and Doctors like here in California that are in FLORIDA OR ATLANTA please let me know as i could go live with my friends and get treatment there but it means starting from scratch with doctors again. This could be an option for me as far as a living place.
I cannot afford to rent an apt. just do not have it but must stay here in states now seeing as I have come all this way now ratheer than go back to Ireland and start again there or the UK.
thankyou!!
I FORGOT TO PUT THE NOTIFY ME MARKER ON WHEN A REPLY CAME IN FOR THE ROOM TO RENT REQUEST ON MESSAGE ABOVE THIS ONE FROM ME.
PLEASE REPLY THROUGH THIS ONE IF U CAN UT I WILL BE CHECKING ANYWAY EVERY DAY ON THE HOUR ETC AS BEST I CAN.

You know, you could always learn Dr. Weiss' methods and do self-therapy. It's usually not pleasant but it puts you in control and will save you a ton of money. I am currently doing self-therapy right now and have been for 3 months now and am seeing steady results and am WAY better than I was 5 months ago. As I'm sure Dr. Weiss told you from the start, there is no cure, only treatment and you need to continue stretching and excising even when the pain has gone away. I would recommend purchasing the book that Dr. Weiss had a hand in making and following the steps there. I am in So-Cal which is about 8 hours away from San Fran so I couldn't really help you, besides that I am looking to move out of my current situation. I was fortunate to find a PT in my area who is familiar with Dr. Weiss' methods and has taught me to do them myself. Anyway Good Luck Lexie.

Alex, was just thinking about you the other day and wondering how you are. There are a bunch of therapists in Florida and some in Georgia. Check out this link: http://pudendalhope.org/node/63
PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.

Hi Lexie, will Berkeley work or is the commute to San Fran too difficult for you? My brother used to rent a room in a large house in Berkeley and I stayed there when I went to see Dr. Weiss for a single visit; the drive to his office was I think a good half hour at least (It's on Grant St. in Berkeley so you can map it to find out the distance); and I am sure public transportation would take even longer. But I know the owners and last I heard, about a month ago, they had an open room. It's not really private space, it's a group / family type living environment with shared kitchen and bathrooms. So I don't think the price is too steep. If you have an interest I can find out about current availability, just let me know.
pelvic pain started 1985 age 14 interstitial cystitis. Refused medical care from age 17, did GREAT with self care for years.
2004 PN started gradually, disabled by 2009. Underlying cause SIJD & Tarlov cysts
improved with PT & meds: neurontin, valium, nortriptyline, propanolol. (off nortriptyline & propanolol now, yay!)
Tarlov cyst surgery with Dr. Frank Feigenbaum March 20, 2012.
Results have been excellent so far; but I won't know my final functional level for a couple of years.

You should see the PT I'm seeing, she's amazing and has brought me much relief. Also she knows doctor Weiss and his methods. Its southern California so that opens your search area a bit. Ventura county to be specific.
