Dr Potter Vs Dr Filler Vs Nantes

Post by stratts »

Hi everybody,

I live in the UK and was wondering what is the difference between Dr Potter and Dr Filler diagnostic. I know Dr Filler is now coming to London.

Do they both use MRN scans to diagnose? If so what is the difference?

I was thinking weather it would be worth actually having one of these scans to see if it can show anything new?

Does anybody know the exact costs for both to have a scan and get a diagnosis?

Out of interest does anybody know the cost to go to Nantes, France and have a diagnosis and Pudendal Nerve surgery?

Just interested because i am looking at trying to move to the next stage now. I am thinking of applying to my local PCT funding to try and get the money to travel to France or maybe have a Dr Filler diagnostic. I have contacted my local MP my e-mail to try and arrange to meet him and ask for his support.

For a discussion comparing Potter and Filler imaging check out this thread: http://www.pudendalhope.info/forum/view ... f=69&t=319

I can't tell you the current costs in Nantes other than to say that historically, it has probably been the least expensive place to get PNE surgery if you are paying for it yourself. You might be able to find out from Judy on her pelvic pain website: http://www.pelvicpain.org.uk/
PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.
