Do i have PN Dysfunction/Damage (male) ??

i, so I have been in my family Dr today because of my problems, I think I have injured my self about 2 years ago.

My symptoms is.

- Weak Erection (Sometimes better)

-Weak Penis Head even if my shaft is hard.

-Skin Damage on my Penis Head (Wrinkles, Discolored)

-Pelvic Discomfort/Pain

-Can't sit for long as it's painful in my pelvic, anus, groin area (burning like)

-Pain Attacks in my lower abdomen ( About week ago I was experiencing very sharp pain during pee in my bladder I think)

-Sometimes I feel cold that's coming from my back

-Lower Back Pain Sometimes

-Sometimes my right hand feels very cold while my left hand feels normal

-Penis is hard in flaccid state and shrink including enlarged veins (not always, mostly when I'm in hot shower)

-Anus Shooting Pain in external sphincter

-Shooting pain from my pelvic to any direction

Also when the injury happened, my hearth start to beat very fast , my feet's/legs was burning my penis shrinks to very small size and become very hard, my glans shrinks as well and become discolored, and lots of other things. I think it is some nerve damage that is responsible for the blood circulation in penis/pelvic area, maybe pudendal? I don't know, my GP said that if it's nerve damage there isn't anything I could do, I think he talked bullshit, im having referral for ultrasound of my Penis, what can it be? is it something with the pudendal, btw i live in London and im 18 years old male, Please help.

Hi Elindo. Firstly let me say how sorry I am to hear that someone so young is suffering in this way. I am new to this site and so hardly qualified to comment, other than to say that the comment from your doctor that there isn't anything you can do if you have nerve damage is rubbish,utter nonsense I'm sure. As far as your symptoms go, I don't suffer the same ones other than the burning and shooting pains in my rectum, but it's pretty clear to me that symptoms vary considerably from one person to another. I live in Kent, and have just 10 minutes ago arranged an appointment at the London Nerve Centre in The Princess Grace Hospital in Nottingham Place,W1 to see a Professor Carlstedt. I got his name from this wonderful website and my Insurance Company have agreed to contribute towards the costs. My appointment is on Monday, I'll be posting up the results next week after seeing him on Monday 8th November.

Why not print off the 'Letter to Medical Professionals' from this site and take it along to your GP. Feel free to pm me if you need to, always happy to give you a bit of help in my own small way.

Hello John, thank you for your reply, im not sure which specialist should i see, and my GP is not helpful at all, should i see Professor Carlstedt? also i don't have money to pay at once, it must be expensive i think, so which insurance should i make that will cover it? Thank You.

Hi, no i havn't got any health insurance, im now waiting for a letter, my GP has made refferal to get penile ultrasound, and also i don't see anywhere anybody with PN to have same symptoms as me, i have all the symptons of PN i think, but i have lots of other symptoms like my penis head is weak discolored, wrinkled and looks very unhealthy i have often shooting pain from my anus through my pelvic, corpus spongiosum to my penis head, lower back pain, feeling cold often, pain shocks to my lower abdomen, bladder pain etc, so do you think it is 100% my pudendal nerve or something different or bouth at once? thank you

Elindo, it would be totally wrong of me to hazard a guess even, as I am just beginning to learn about PN myself and I would hate to mislead you in any way. The symptom of feeling cold in your back is a symptom I have read about somewhere on this site, I hope others more informed might help. At least you now have a referral letter and the route to what the problem really is has begun. Be patient, polite but persistent with whoever you see. Good luck, keep posting when you need someone to 'talk to'.

Elindo, have you had an MRI of the lumbosacral area yet to make sure there is nothing obvious that shows up on an MRI that could be causing your problem?

Sometimes there is a problem with blood flow (vascular constrictions) to an area as well as nerve compression or nerve damage. It sounds like your GP is not interested in actually figuring out what is going on with you although I expect if he were the one having this problem he would leave no stone unturned to figure it out. Maybe you can print out some information from this website to give to your physician and ask if he can at least refer you to some specialists who might be able to help you.

How did you injure yourself, if you don't mind me asking? We share a lot of the same symptoms...I also experience weak erections, wrinkliness & discolouration of the penis (not so much the head though), pain, penis is hard & shrunken in flaccid state, etc.

My symptoms came on suddenly 4 years ago after I badly adjusted my bike seat (raised it & left it angled upwards, so there was a lot of pressure on my perineum).

Hello, did you try to get any treatment? did you get any diagnostic or anything? I think there is something wrong with the blood flowing mechanism/ vascular problem.
