I have a sexual dysfunction which implies that I feel no sexual pleasure at all. I feel touch in my genitals like on any other part of my skin, but no pleasure. After I am already over 30 I read something about this somewhere on the internet for the first time. On a medical forum someone adviced to look into PPOD.
I understood from reading the nervus pudendus is responsible for sexual pleasure.
One woman had amazing results as a side effect after she was treated for lower backpain, PPOD, by a chiropractor. However, she experienced sexual pleasure before in her life, and then lost it after an accident.
I have never experienced any sexual pleasure. Is it possible that I was born without a nervus pudendus?
I am seeing a chiropractor specialized in PPOD about this next week, afterwards I should probably see a gynecologist.

Iris, you may want to check out the following article:

According to the article, sacral nerve root compression could be causing the symptom you are describing. Have you have an MRI yet to rule out any sacral nerve root impingement? I don't know if that is something that could be congenital but it seems possible.
If you have normal bowel and bladder function it seems likely that you would at least have some of the branches of the pudendal nerve since the PN innervates the anal sphincter and the bladder sphincter. There can be variations in pudendal nerve anatomy but I don't know if there are any known cases of someone without a dorsal clitoral/penile branch of the pudendal nerve.
Good luck. Hope you can get this sorted out.

PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.
