Hi,
I'm new to this forum (or any other, for that matter). Could someone kindly advise how to set up an automatic notification feature for all new posts, either on the forum itself or in my email box? I find it tedious to check for new messages by scrolling to the end of each topic.
Thanks.

How to receive all new posts automatically?
Athlete until pain started in 2001. Diagnosed with PN in Nov. 2010. Probable cause: 3 difficult labors, 5 pelvic surgeries for endometriosis, and undiagnosed hip injuries. 60% better after 3 rounds of shockwave therapy in Cornwall, Ontario (Dec - Feb/12). 99% better after bilateral hip scopes for FAI and labral tears (April and July/12). Pelvic pain life coach Lorraine Faendrich helped me overcome the mind/body connection to chronic pain: http://www.radiantlifedesign.com

When you log in, at the top of the board you can click "view new posts" and go to the end of only those threads to see new posts.
Otherwise, here is some info on subscribing to the forum or forum topics in order to get notified of new material.

PNE as a result of childbirth, 2002. Treatment by the Houston team, with neurosurgery by Dr. Ansell in 2004. My left side ST and SS ligaments were found to be grown together, encasing the pudendal nerve.
I am cured. I hope you will be, too.
There are no medical answers on the forum. Your only hope is to go to a doctor. I was very happy with the Houston team, which has treated the most PNE patients (well over 400), more than any other US provider.

You can click on view new posts like Celeste said or you can click on the sections that are lit up. Then click on the little light next to the topic and it automatically takes you to the posts you haven't read in that topic. If the lights aren't showing up you may need to allow cookies but someone else is going to have to tell you how to do that.
If you go to the bottom of the page do you see something that says "delete all board cookies"? That's what I see but if you have not allowed board cookies it may say something else and you may need to click on that.
If you want to be notified when your posts are replied to go to the bottom of the page and check "notify me when a reply is posted".

PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.
Re: How to receive all new posts automatically?
Thanks for the tips. I have a few more questions:
1. What does a black/blue circle mean?
2. What does a red circle mean?
3. What does a scrolling black/blue circle mean?
4. What does a scrolling red circle mean?
5. What does an asterix mean?
I apologize if the answers to these questions are somewhere on the website. I looked and couldn't find them.
Thanks again from a newbie.

If you hold the mouse pointer over one of the circles at the left hand side on the Board Index Page for a moment or two, it will tell you either Unread Posts or No Unread Posts. This corresponds to the red and black circles - Unread Posts and No Unread Posts respectively. I am not sure what the other things mean.
This pre-supposes that you want to read every single post on the forum - and that you have time to! I click on View New Posts at the top of the Board Index, each time I visit.
