Cryoblation protocol correction

Post by jon »

I posted incorrect information regarding the protocol Dr. Prologo uses.

Its a 7 minute freeze cycle then a couple minute warming period then another 7 minute freeze cycle.

Any Interventional Radiologist can do it if they have a cryoablation system. Boston Scientific made the one my doctor in Honolulu used.

He contacted Dr. Prologo to discuss it. He's super helpful.

I had a repeat cryo treatment a couple of months ago to both the Alcocks Canal and the Ischial Spine. I haven't gotten the benefits I did over a year ago but I plan to try again.

I still had daily pain but no pain flares for a year!

It was a miracle for me after 16 years of pain, losing the career I loved and after having 9 surgeries. I'd never have decompression with its 2 year recovery and low success rate.

Left testicle pain since 2008. Left sciatica 2010-2012. Failed left epididectomy, orchiectomy, botox injections, nerve blocks and internal physical therapy. Genital branch of genitofemoral and perineal branch of pudendal nerve cut. L5-S1 microdiscectomy cured sciatica. Dorsal Root Ganglion nerve stimulator failed to help and was removed. I have had 4 pudendal nerve blocks, two from Dr. Poree worked for 2 hrs. The ONLY break from pain ever.

Hi Jon,

I'm so glad to hear that this is working and that you're doing so well! And thanks for the updated info on the protocol. Let us know how it goes when you do it again.
