greetings

Post by CherylO »

Hi there, I'm new to using a forum and I also have never been involved with joining groups of any kind. But, oh boy!, was I excited and relieved to find out about this site! My life has been such a nightmare. The parts of my body that are effected by the pudendal nerve damage, have quickly taken over all other parts of life. I have been becoming a completely different person. I am so consumed by the pain and loss of bodily control ,I've become so very depressed. I really want to hope that I can get some answers and advice to help me carry on. I'm sorry for sounding like a martyr. This is not how I was before the surgery. I had to have a bladder lift and also have the vagina muscles cut and stitched back together. Hopefully keep the bladder from falling back out through the vagina. I could tell by next morning, after surgery, that something was wrong. The pain was far to intense, I have a very high threshold for pain. Because of having been dealing with spinal problems for years. I apologize, I am so all over the place with what was to be a simple hello to get myself known . I just wanted to ask one question about how to start "off" with a proper way to give out my story and then hopefully get answers to questions? Trying to be hopeful. :? :?

Cheryl, how long has it been since your pelvic surgery? Sometimes it takes time for the pain to subside and sometimes seeing a pelvic floor PT post-op can be helpful. What have you tried so far to relieve the pain?

PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.
