How to send a link in a post?

Post by Lernica »

Could someone kindly advise. I know how to send a link in an email but not in a post or a personal message on this forum.

Thanks,
Lernica
Athlete until pain started in 2001. Diagnosed with PN in Nov. 2010. Probable cause: 3 difficult labors, 5 pelvic surgeries for endometriosis, and undiagnosed hip injuries. 60% better after 3 rounds of shockwave therapy in Cornwall, Ontario (Dec - Feb/12). 99% better after bilateral hip scopes for FAI and labral tears (April and July/12). Pelvic pain life coach Lorraine Faendrich helped me overcome the mind/body connection to chronic pain: http://www.radiantlifedesign.com

I'm sure the nerds on the forum can answer this better than I can   but one way is to copy and paste it out of your address bar into the message/post that you are composing. Do you know how to copy and paste?
PNE since 2002. Started from weightlifting. PNE surgery from Dr. Bautrant, Oct 2004. Pain now is usually a 0 and I can sit for hours on certain chairs. No longer take medication for PNE. Can work full time and do "The Firm" exercise program. 99% cured from PGAD. PNE surgery was right for me but it might not be for you. Do your research.

I am not entirely sure that I qualify as a nerd   but another way to do it is to use the URL button above the text window whilst you are writing a post. First highlight the text in your post that you want to use as a link, then click the URL button.

Before the text, you will now see a square brackets enclosing "url" and after the text another square brackets enclosing "/url" - in the first set of brackets, type = immediately after url and the paste the url to which you would like to link.

And that's it.

Copy and paste. You have done it before.

Tried numerous medications as well as a long period of myofascial physical therapy combined with meditation/relaxation. My pelvic floor muscles are now normal and relaxed on exam ( confirmed by many Pelvic floor PTs) yet my pain remains the same. Also have intense leg pain. Deciding on next treatment.

Ha! Fooled you, Charlie! I actually typed out the whole URL by hand in that post but I figured there must be an easier way to do it. I'll try copying and pasting the URL next time.

Thanks for your words of wisdom, everyone.
